Hotel Los Andes is a 3 star hotel in a residential area but still only 300 metres from the centre of Castello di Fiemme and only 3kms from Cavalese the main town in Val di Fiemme. The hotel is the perfect base for an activity, family or just relax and wellbeing type of holiday! All the comunal areas in the hotel are beautifully rustic in style from the paved flooring in reception and the bar to the dining room with old wooden beams and columns and even more so the taverna where you can enjoy a drink in the evenings. The on site facilities include an indoor heated pool, sauna, children's mini club, garden with sun loungers in the summer and an openair jacuzzi plunge pool. Opposite the hotel there is a small children's playground area. The bedrooms are all en suite with modern furnishings and almost all have balcony. Family rooms are available with double bed plus bunk beds or if you need a bit more space there are several Family interconnecting rooms, each with its own bathroom. The hotel is particularly 'child friendly' with a Mini club and everything from Country strollers to night lights to rucksacks available for use.
In winter the ski bus stop is just 150 metres from the hotel and will take you to the local ski areas of Cermis or Obereggen or to other areas in Val di Fassa covered by the Dolomiti Superski Pass. In summer those wanting to be active can enjoy organised walks and excursions or if you prefer relaxing what better than sitting in the sun in the hotel garden and enjoying the wonderful views.
Hotel Los Andes is under the same management as Hotel Bellavista and listed in the Italian Coeliac Society web site so well able to cater for anyone needing a gluten free diet.
Castello di Fiemme is a small attractive village in Val di Fiemme just 3 kms from Cavalese. Whether your decide on a winter or summer holiday you will enjoy exploring the centre and old part of the village where there are some beautiful buildings to be discovered.
In winter The local ski area is Cermis and it is just 1.5kms on the local bus that stops just 150 metres from the hotel. For those that want to go further afield using the Dolomiti Superski Pass you have access to a further 11 ski areas in and around Val di Fassa including one of the starting points at Canazei for the famous Sella Ronda. The Pass not only includes the ski bus and uphill transport but also entry to public swimming pools, Cavalese ice stadium and all ice rinks along the valley. Winter also means cross country ski-ing – nearby Cavalese is the finish line of the Marcialonga 70 km race that takes place at the end of January each year and Passo Lavazé a big cross country ski area is host to international cross country events. Walking excursions using snow shoes are also organised by the hotel.
In summer for those that want to be active the hotel organises Nordic walking and many trekking excursions of varying degrees of difficulty suitable for both families and experienced walkers visiting all the best and lesser known peaks, mountain huts and meadows throughout the Dolomites – and all with breathtaking views. Mountain bikes can also be hired in the hotel and the valley boasts many kilometres of cycle tracks as well as numerous downhill trails. There is also no shame in just relaxing in the sunshine, sitting on one of the sun loungers in the garden or even better in the jacuzzi looking at the view onto Cermis.

How to arrive
Milano Bergamo 240km Int’l airport: Verona 155km
From Verona BY CAR turn right out of airport and then left onto dual carriageway going north. Follow green motorway signs and join A22 motorway north.
From Milano Bergamo airport turn right out of car hire depot and follow green signs to motorway A4 direction Venice. Just before Verona filter onto A22 Brenner motorway north to Trento/Bolzano. Exit at EGNA/ORA and follow signs to Cavalese. After approx 20kms exit right off main road towards Cavalese and Castello di Fiemme and after 300mts bear right down hill to Castello. At the bottom of the hill turn right at junction and then short distance to the square and a left turn onto Via Latemar / Via Dolomiti. Hotel is on the left hand side after approx 300 metres. There is a private car parking area on the left just past the hotel.
In winter ski bus from Bergamo and Verona available but need to check if timings coincide with flights
