Hotel Eden, 3* situated in Brenzone, just a few kilometres south of Malcesine, is in a fantastic position boasting a wonderful lake view from the hotel terrace, and at the same time only 50 metres from the beach. Guests can choose whether to relax on the terrace or in the garden, swim in the Hotel Eden part indoor /part outdoor heated pool or use the jacuzzi, sauna or even the new gym in amongst the olive trees. If that is not enough you can walk through the tunnel under the road that connects directly with the wonderful Hotel Belfiore garden and the new private garden and beach area with sun loungers belonging to Hotel Eden. The outdoor pool and Jacuzzi at Hotel Belfiore can also be used for a small fee.
The hotel has 37 rooms, all air conditioned with balcony and many with lake view. The rooms on the first floor are all Junior Suite Panorama and as the name implies each has a big terrace and wonderful lake views.On the 1st and 2nd floors you have six Eden Comfort lake facing rooms which were recently completely refurbished with new flooring, new LCD TVs, a hydromassage shower and balcony with full lake view and all the Classic rooms either lake or mountain facing with balcony and now also completely 'refreshed'. The Eden Lake Superior and Junior Suites can be used as family rooms for max 4 persons with a double bed and sofa bed that becomes bunks. There are also 2 Eden Superior rooms on the ground floor with mountain view and a large patio/garden.

Hotel Eden is the only hotel on the eastern Veneto side of the lake to be accredited by the Italian Coeliac Society. Coeliac guests are welcome and both breakfast and dinner are served in the Hotel Eden restaurant or during the summer months, weather permitting, on the part covered panoramic terrace. From the main road there is a short walk up an incline and some steps into the hotel reception. However car parking is at the top of the incline near the olive trees.

' Hotel Eden is a typical family hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and they are renovating the older style rooms year on year. The hotel is certified by the Coeliac society of Italy so you can be safe in the knowledge that they know what they are doing. On arrival we were shown the day's menu to choose what we wanted for that evening's meal. On asking what was gluten free the response was 'everything. We can make anything on the menu gluten free'. And that was the sense of the hotel throughout the holiday - nothing was too much trouble and all requests were always dealt with efficiently and with a smile. 'Hotel Eden was great, it was comfortable and the position by the lake amazing. The staff were really friendly and very helpful, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Definitely a hotel with the WOW factor!!
From the moment you arrive, Belfiore Park Hotel, the only 4*Superior hotel in Brenzone just a short distance south of Malcesine, recently renovated to a very high standard and situated right by the lake side, will make you feel at ease. From every part of the hotel, whether you are on the terrace, lying round the pool, on the beach or on the new sun loungers in some of the more secluded parts of the garden full of olive trees, roses and bougainville, you will have fantastic views onto the lake and the dramatic cliffs opposite with sheer drops to the lake side. The hotel has a bar and lounge leading onto the terrace and a superb dining room with lake view including several tables out on the terrace for 'al fresco' dining. Almost the whole of the ground floor at beach level is taken up by the Dhara Wellness Centre, definitely to be recommended for a day of pampering.
The hotel prices are for bed & breakfast; a fantastic breakfast buffet with pretty well everything you can imagine is served up to 11 o'clock. The main restaurant is open from 12.30 to 19.00 with an à la carte menu and after that a snack menu is available throughout the evening and night. If you prefer to have half board or some evenings eat later than 19.00 guests at Hotel Belfiore are more than welcome to eat at Hotel Eden.

' We had never visited Lake Garda before our recent enjoyable holiday. We booked through Gilli's Holidqys because she offers to find a good coeliac friendly place to stay - and boy did she find us a lovely place! This hotel is situated right on the lakeside with a lovely outlook across the lake to the mountains. We loved the fact you could walk straight out of the hotel on the the lakeside walk and could walk so far in either direction without getting on the main road. Our room was on the 3rd floor with balcony great for quiet reading or sunbathing. We had booked B&B but ate in the restaurant every night to be sure of gluten free food at all times. The quality of the food was excellent and the breakfast superb. And the staff, so friendly and warmly welcoming and the restaurant staff work well as a team.
